Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring™

The Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring™ (EEP) (PDF, 660 KB) was created by MENTOR, The National Mentoring Partnership, with support of leading experts and researchers in the field, mentoring partnerships, practitioners and federal funders. Oregon Mentors is an affiliate of MENTOR.

The EEP is the gold standard for mentoring programs and an excellent place to find information on how to run a quality mentoring program. The third edition was revised in 2009 to incorporate a greater emphasis on research findings, which is highlighted in the Checklist for Mentoring Programs (PDF, 170 KB). The second edition was developed with a thorough toolkit that includes over 160 ready-to-use downloadable tools.
