Program Description
Responsible, caring adults are carefully matched with students to spend one hour a week on school grounds. The role of the mentor may span from friendship to academic enrichment. A good mentor listens, encourages, is a positive role model, and often provides the extra push a student needs to succeed in school and life.

Types of Mentoring
- Volunteer with one youth (one-to-one mentoring)
Place Where Mentoring Occurs
- Site-based (limited to one location: school, activity center, workplace, etc.)
Hours Needed
- Weekday Mornings: 8 am to Noon
- Weekday Afternoon: Noon to 3 pm
