Description of Youth in the Program
Elevate Oregon currently serves students in the Parkrose School district in grades 1st through 12th, boys and girls, mixed ethnicity. Over 85% of the students served are on the free and reduced lunch program and are selected to participate in Elevate Oregon classes and activities based on the direction of the principals, teachers, and counselors at each school we serve.
Quality Standards of Program
Elevate Oregon is modeled on and partnered with the acclaimed mentoring program, Colorado UpLift. This 30 year proven program is recognized for its remarkable effectiveness at breaking cycles of generational poverty, improving the lives of at-risk youth and helping build responsible leaders of tomorrow. Other replications are in New York, Orlando and Phoenix. Elevate Oregon maintains the same high standards that have been established by Colorado Uplift over their 30 year history. Elevate Oregon fully complies with the Elements of Effective Practice.
